Jameson (Jamie) has been working in the field of mental health services for 23 years in roles including clinical therapy, respite therapy, crisis triage assessment, and psychiatric counseling at healthcare and correctional facilities, and for mental health counseling practices.
In 2016, Jameson opened his own practice (Transmogrify Counseling Services) now known as Partners in Pride Wellness Center.
Jameson specializes in working with LGBTQ+ adolescents, young adults, and adults. His primary focus is working with those who identify as trans (or are questioning their gender identity) and their families. He has worked diligently to provide a safe space for the community by facilitating free or low-cost groups, as well as volunteering with multiple organizations within his community.
As someone who openly identifies as trans, Mr. Pagano values the importance of transparency. Jameson makes an effort to be visible whenever possible, for those who are unable to be visible for themselves. He frequently shares his personal insights and professional expertise through speaking at LGBTQ+ community events and meetings.
He currently resides in Bolingbrook with his children and is actively involved in his church.
