Let’s give back together.
Transitioning can be expensive! Our goal is to help save some money with our Let’s Give Back Together (LGBT) Closet.
The LGBT Closet is a dedicated space with a dressing room available exclusively for those in transition to shop gently used clothes that have been donated by others in the LGBTQ+ community.
You can expand your new wardrobe by exchanging what you select with donations of your own, or by purchasing items at a very low cost. All profits are are re-invested in acquiring new clothes and accessories for the closet – we like to bring in fresh threads too!
Shopping (and donation) is by appointment only. Friends are welcome!
Please note, shopping the closet is currently only available at our Ottawa, IL location. Our Bolingbrook location is temporarily closed, and due to the generous amount of donations we have received over the years, contributions are appreciated but currently on hold. (We’re expanding! more news on that later…)
