FOR CLIENTS, CLINICIANS AND ORGANZIATIONS

Supportive Services

We’re here for you and our community.

Partners in Pride® Wellness Center, together with our partners, offer a safe, inclusive environment and supportive services for the LGBTQ+ community. Our services are available to clients and non-clients in Will, Kendall and DuPage Counties.

All peer events and social support groups are attended by clients, friends and family, or by invitation. Insurance is accepted for clinical services, including outpatient mental health counseling and groups.

We are LGBTQ+

Jameson Pagano, the founder of Partners in Pride® is a trans man, a parent, and experienced therapist that has worked with over 100 trans or gender non-conforming clients. All of the Partners in Pride® therapists are LGBTQ+ and provide services under Jameson’s guidance.

We are able to give back and offer support in multiple areas from a position where we can relate, instead of just empathize.

With in-house staff that have personally transitioned and have been part of the LGBTQ+ community for decades, our clients benefit from clinical insight that draws on a foundation of professional practice, personal experience, authentic advocacy and a wealth of knowledge.

Counseling

Partners in Pride® licensed clinicians provide counseling services for teens, young adults, adults and their families. Our seasoned professionals employ a variety of therapy techniques tailored to the client.
We specialize in mental health and behavioral therapy for the LGBTQ+ community. Our clients benefit from access to:
  • Thoughtful, engaged therapy
  • Relevant health care information and resources
  • Support engaging with those across the spectrum of acceptance

Letter of Readiness

Transformative treatments and procedures, such as hormone (HRT/GAHT) prescriptions, top surgery or gender confirmation surgery, require an evaluation of the client and a Letter of Readiness to proceed.

If you are transgender, or a clinician treating someone who is, we can administer the evaluation and write an accredited Letter of Readiness based on recommendations.

Our process is in accordance with the ethics and Standard of Care set forth by World Professional Association of Transgender Health WPATH. You may review the guidelines, which includes insurance coverage information here.

Group and Case Consultations

We offer consultations for individual and group practitioners that are tailored to the specific needs of the individual or agency.
Partners in Pride® founder, Jameson Pagano, brings a multi-faceted approach through the lens of a clinician, a parent, and someone who identifies as trans.
Past consultations include specific case/client review, general info on working with gender diverse adolescents and adults, as well as more in depth clinical approaches to working with the LGBTQ+ clients and families.
